That’s the easiest way to start thinking about these things, you have a hustle based model of economics, with corresponding propaganda, and you have a true physical economy conceptual framework, which was proven in the US multiple times, but was aggressively buried under all the British pirate-looter class sponsored propaganda, and their compromised minions.
You can almost look at it like a viral attack creating intellectual zombies, from the proceeds of their looting… closing their loop.
So when you’re talking about all these things, you have to identify which line of reasoning is upstream of your personal argument.
Many will be surprised to learn that their whole framework is propaganda, because they unwittingly adopted axioms, which are propaganda.
That’s why you do the work to actually trace the respective chains of causality of both systems, both in their economic expression, and in their rhetorical expression, so as to stand on firmer ground when making assertions.
On these things, I’m not just talking out of my ass. Many of the US Ivy League schools trace their major historical funding to the opium traders, for example.
So they’re going to teach the pirate hustler forms of economics, not even mentioning its deep influence on every field of study, to justify and normalize the axiomatic framework of the Imperial hustle.
Like Darwinism. But like I said, nearly every subject is compromised in some way from their bias in this regard. And you have to go up to epistemological and ontological considerations, to spot most of them, that’s why they work so effectively… they hide behind the “obvious”, that which is taken for granted, false axioms, the most significant root of which, is a false view of man in the universe.
The division line lies on the question of whether it’s OK to exploit human beings or not, and the corresponding question of the sustainability or unsustainability of Empire.
Astute observers will notice it is remarkably similar to asking if literal human sacrifice is economically justified or not, as the difference is only one of degree, and when looking at scenes like Gaza or Ukraine, sees they are indeed similar, after push becomes shove.
The American system provided the functional alternative, based largely on the increased physical leverage, manifested by the machine-tool industry, and manufacturing, rather than trade hussles.
Because it represents a legitimate alternative to Empire, knowledge of this system has been generally suppressed.
We don’t have to treat everyone else badly to have a growing economy, because contrary to the assertions of empire, it’s not a zero-sum game; because human ingenuity is open-ended.
China has adopted this American System to a large extent, and is presently accelerating beyond us, while we lie trapped in the imperial-colonial mindset.
