[Rack2-Filer]\+ | +\[View] : Folder storing installation program of | Rack2-Viewer | +\[Docs] : Folder containing manuals provided by the manufacturer (Getting Started, User's Guide, etc.) * Please run "Setup.exe" in [View] folder to install Rack2-Viewer only. 2. Cautions for Installation ================================== * If data from a previous version is edited in the trial version of Rack2-Filer (V5.0L50), the data will become unusable with previous versions. Therefore, creating new data is recommended when using the trial version of Rack2-Filer. * You may install and use the Software on your premises at a time. You may use the Software for up to thirty (30) days after the installation of the Software. The Software will NOT function after the period. Furthermore, the "execution file" created with "Export Binder" (Rack2 Binder with embedded Viewer) on the trial version cannot be opened beginning 30 days after the initial startup (*1). (*1) the date when the trial version or Rack2 Binder with embedded Viewer (execution file) started on the computer. Even after the trial period has expired, you can still add data with "Sending Data from Other Applications" and "Inserting Files using Rack2 Folder Monitor Software", but you cannot view the added data beginning 30 days after the initial startup. * The following languages are supported for this product. Note: If you select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now", installation of Rack2-Viewer may not be done correctly. In this case, please install Rack2-Viewer only by following instruction described above. 3. Cautions for Removal ================================== * To uninstall Rack2-Filer, log in as the user who installed Rack2-Filer. Administrators privilege is required for the user. * Exit all applications and antivirus software before uninstalling Rack2-Filer. * Before installing a previous version of Rack2-Filer, uninstall the current version from the Windows [Control Panel]. 4. Cautions for Use ================================== * When you want to import Getting Started (binder format), click the Binder menu on the Rack2-Filer window, select Import Binder, and import the [GettingStarted.pdf] from the [GettingStarted_Binder] on the set up CD-ROM(DVD-ROM). * When setting a LibRoot folder in the network folder and sharing the data, the font specified as the binder title may not be displayed correctly if the client computer does not have the required font. * Rack2-Filer may not operate correctly under virtual environments such as remote desktop. * Do not log off or shutdown while an operation is being processed in the WorkArea. * If the characters on the screen for Windows are set to be zoomed in, some of the Rack2-Filer screens may not be shown correctly with the resolution other than 1024 x 768. In this situation, set the size of the characters to the standard setting. * Environment dependant characters (unicode) are not supported. Do not use environment dependant characters (unicode) for the installation folder, user names, folder names, and other string variables. * PDF files created with ScanSnap on a Mac OS cannot be used as "Data scanned with ScanSnap" in Rack2-Filer.
