I am really thrilled with the MixPre 3 II. I have no issues when recording on the device it self, on it's own.

I am facing a perplexing issue when I use the recorder in combination with Canon's EOS R camera --> HDMI to Atomos Ninja V --> HDMI out to Mix Pre 3 II inserted to timecode mini hdmi.

What happens is that during the recording, the Mix Pre will suddenly cycle through a power shutdown and restart, as if randomly.

I haven't figured out why exactly but I figure I should probably ask the experts to help steer me in the right direction before I do something stupid or lose patience.

So far, my hypotheses have been looking at the SD card, the USB thumb drive and the Timecode settings.

I now tend to think the Memory cards can be excluded after trying a few different cards and trying with or with the USB card inserted.

So anyways, I would appreciate your input if you can.
