Most running shoes feel comfortable when you try them on in a shoe store. But the true test will come after running a couple of miles. So how to find your perfect pair of running shoes? Try to choose them based on the shape of your feet.
The easiest way to find out your foot type is the “wet test”. Wet both feet and stand on a paper bag for 10 seconds. Then check the footprint on that bag.

Also consider your weight when choosing running shoes. Try to avoid lightweight running shoes if you have a higher BMI. Researchers found that using the lightweight shoes can improve performance if the runner’s BMI is less than 27. If your BMI is more than that, choose heavier shoes with a dense sole to prevent injuries.
