FAQs
Wi-Fi security protocols prevent unwanted parties from connecting to your wireless network and encrypt your private data sent over the airwaves. When you set up your wireless network, you have a few security options: WPA, WPA & WPA2 Mixed, WPA2, WPA3 etc. WPA2 is an improved version and is more secure than WPA. To secure your network, D-Link recommends using WPA2, which uses the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).
