Most runners will tell you the hardest part of any run is just getting yourself out the door. Once you get started, it’s easier to keep going. Knowing that, find a partner to run with who will hold you accountable. By planning runs together, you will feel obligated to each other and won’t cancel a run as you might if you were planning to run on your own. Also, the runs are more enjoyable with a partner. When running in an urban environment, having a buddy is also a good idea for safety reasons.
If you enjoy running by yourself, you can connect with your fellows online. Join running groups on social media for more motivation and workout tips.
