What are young people joining US military for in 2023??? Economic opportunity, patriotism , the next frontier… always keep the greater good in focus.

Trump,like Lincoln in Civil War and FDR in WWii had to fire a lot of bad generals to make the mission stick. And his top guy, Michael Flynn , was torpedoed before he could really move. Meaning trump could have achieved a lot more in FP if the corruption wasn’t so bad.

2.
Second is the draft and something akin to a greater good in terms of military policy, preparation, and building. Space force’s creation was the start of something awesome and going deeper into that skill set wow. To me that’s victory ✌️

take for example someone like lt col Matthew lowmeir. We could have a generation of folks like him 🫡 awesome.

Developing the tech , the space infrastructure to conquer near space and build civilization out there is where the us military should be focused.

I looked into the Paul Soros scholarship even using the what back machine to look at the website from over 10 years ago honestly I feel it’s a bit of a nothing burger. I think that’s fair. Because of our system people are allowed to vote despite the commanding lead.

My issue more and to be honest I think it’s something that’s damaging for the future of the party is why, especially considering trump has a lead do we need to chop down DeSantis and Vivek. Sorry for the delay on this one. So first off, though I agree with your point about not wanting a professional political class I don’t think it’s realistic or should we just scrap the few good people we have.

Second I think it’s abundantly clear, aside from what our thoughts are about them “running” for president that DeSantis and Vivek are fighting for conservatism. DeSantis (though with the initial and important help from trump) has turned Florida from purple to dark red, fought battles in the culture war, opened up quickly during COVID and hired a surgeon general who actually pushes back again the pharma-owned medical establishment and so on. And one of the biggest things I like about Vivek is that he worked to create an anti-esg asset management firm which in a small way is taking on Blackrock and their control over corporations. So in my opinion there is not question that they have fought for our values. I dislike the infighting but I don’t really care who tries to “run for President”. What’s funny is people attacked the vac and he’s going out of his way not to attack Donald Trump and I personally think he’s running for vice president or a cabinet position.

I don’t like what she did overall but I feel like we are just calling everyone turncoats because they are failing some purity test. I listened to the video I didn’t really think it was that bad. It’s clearly a Stalinist show trial where the “confession” clearly seems made under duress. I will say, after seeing the confession video as opposed to the way, it was written in the CNN article softened my opinion a bit.

Even if we disagree, people are allowed to prefer other candidates like DeSantis, and that doesn’t make them so sort of fraud. Enlighten me if you know the reasons (I assume it’s candidate preference) but Trump cut her out of the deal to cover legal fees so her alternative was to try to fight a likely million $ legal case with likely an absurd sentence in front of a jury in a biased county.

Would I trust her in the future? Probably not, the integrity takes a hit, but I don’t think this makes her a fraud YET - she will be if she sell people out later in in the process.

I argue the main difference between Christianity and other religions is that Christ suffered for our sins and calls us to muster the same level of commitment when our beliefs are put before the alter. if it means going to jail one must find the strength to do that, suffer the pain of living in an evil society. It’s a sublime thing to ask for but perhaps that’s why in Catholic history we have and celebrate the Marterdom of some many people who stood firm. I do pity her and will pray for her because she obviously is in way over her head on this fight.

Ohh gotcha, well my thoughts are when it comes to RFK or Tulsi etc. and I’d put people like Rogan, Russell Brand in the same broader category - they’re waking up and waking people up which is great. I think they are valuable and important in the movement. However, they aren’t conservative (Yet) and I don’t trust them enough to further our cause in a position of power.
