Back in 2014, Mearsheimer was in a debate with Chrystia Freeland and Michael McFaul in London, he told both of them that if they continued with their policies that Ukraine was going to get wrecked as a consequence of their actions and they laughed.
In the full video Freeland and McFaul seem pretty convinced the sanctions put in place by the US/EU etc are working and hurting Russia really badly. 😂

Chile Bans Israel From Latin America's Top Aerospace Fair
Chile has banned Israeli firms from participating in the International Air and Space Fair in Santiago in April.
"By decision of the Government of Chile, the 2024 version of the International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE), to be held between 9 and 14 April, will not have the participation of Israeli companies," a statement from the defense ministry said.
Chile, which has the largest Palestinian population outside the Arab world, recalled its ambassador to Israel in late October to protest Israel's "unacceptable violations of international humanitarian law" in Gaza.
"Chile strongly condemns and observes with great concern... these military operations," the Chilean Foreign Ministry said at the time, adding that the Israeli war on Gaza amounted to "collective punishment" of the civilian population.

I really hope that Vladimir Putin understands that there are only two possible options for Russia in this war - victory or surrender. The same is true for the West. But the West still has an intermediate option - to establish a pause in the war in order to prepare Ukraine and strike again. If this is a life-and-death war, as Putin said, then why is Russia giving the initiative to the West?

German Chancellor Scholz rejected the possibility of exchanging long-range missiles with the UK.
He said this at a joint briefing with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Bloomberg reports.
"As for this weapon system, I believe that, given its impact and place of use, it cannot be used without control and that the participation of German soldiers cannot be justified even outside Ukraine. That is why I said that I do not consider their use justified and that the question is not how to do it – indirectly or directly. My answer is clear," Scholz said.
Earlier, a proposal was made to transfer German Taurus missiles to London, which will allow the British to send their Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine.

"It's time to go home," Fudge said. "I do believe strongly that I have done just about everything I could do at HUD for this administration as we go into this crazy, silly season of an election."
Fudge is the second Biden administration Cabinet official to step down. Last year, Labor Secretary Marty Walsh left his role in the administration.
