Fixed step size makes the same adjustment regardless of rotation speed
Variable step size is an exponential algorithm that makes smaller adjustments when you turn the dial slowly and larger adjustments when you turn the dial quickly
Variable with slower attack has a slower acceleration in the beginnning
Variable with quicker attack has a faster acceleration in the beginnning
Variable with ultrafast attack has the fastest acceleration
Setting the step size to 0 (regardless of algorithm) turns off the automatic movement of the fader/vpot but still triggers the script event.
