Tonight, we celebrate wins and share some interesting updates!

Mitchell had all his charges dropped this week after a 2-year battle doing self-representation. The Crown was ordered to provide Mitchell with disclosure that had previously been redacted, and instead of doing so which would have been incriminating to the Crown, they instead withdrew the charges. Mitchell has been cleared of obstructing a city police officer in 2022 and later with failing to attend court when he refused to don a mask for a scheduled appearance April 22, 2022. Read more HERE.

Also, from New Brunswick, the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Jennifer Russell, has stepped down from her role. From the CBC article:
_"Russell became the face of the province's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, providing daily televised briefings, and received the Order of New Brunswick in 2021 "for her steadfast and outstanding leadership and commitment, and for the compassion she showed while working to protect the health and safety of New Brunswickers. _

But she later faced allegations of possible political interference, which she has denied."

The New Brunswick Natural Law team has repeatedly subpoenaed Dr. Russell to appear to court for allegations of directing the police during the mandates in New Brunswick. She fought each of those appearances, and now she has stepped down. Interesting turn of events.

The updates... The RCMP is investigating the CBSA for their 55-million-dollar contract for the ArriveCan app after complaints were filed by a tech company in Ottawa. This has gone to committee and the allegations are serious and concerning. How many Canadians were subjected to heavy fines and rights violations over a government boondoggle? And what does this mean for those with ArriveCan tickets? More on this below.

And a former employee of the Government of New Brunswick won her Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal regarding her vaccine injury and the commission was directed to compensate her. This win is two-fold; one vaccine injury and two, employer accountability! You can read more on this tribunal win HERE.
