Class VoIP Class 1 Interconnected VoIP: A VoIP service provider that directly interfaces with the Public Switched Telephone Network and is eligible to receive numbering resource assignments from the NANPA and PA. Class 2 Interconnected VoIP: A VoIP service provider that relies on a PSTN provider switch for access to the Public Switched Telephone Network and for telephone numbers to assign to its customers. Class 3 Interconnected VoIP: A reseller of Class 1 or Class 2 Interconnected VoIP provider services.
